David Rohrbacher

David J. Rohrbacher

After spending the first 15 years of his legal career concentrating in civil litigation, with an emphasis on product liability defense, particularly the defense of medical products, Mr. Rohrbacher had the opportunity to represent the management group in a leveraged management buyout of a mid-sized manufacturer. He then became the outside general counsel for the entity and found that he particularly enjoyed the continuity of the representation, over the episodic nature of the litigation that had been the focus of his practice.

He chose to transition to business representation, including where necessary, litigation. In order to obtain the requisite business education, Mr. Rohrbacher obtained a MBA from Case Western Reserve University and later followed that with participation in CWRU’s Fellows Program.

Mr. Rohrbacher has now represented numerous buyers and sellers in transactional matters. His professional interests also include corporate governance, representation of start-ups, implementing growth strategies, succession planning for closely held businesses and other exit planning.”
